At this time I think turning anything down would be a terrible idea. I'll pretty much go wherever they want to send me if it comes to that.

I'd like Salt Lake City...but if that doesn't work out I'd be open to anything in northern Illinois. Then I won't have to move nearly as far.

Are there even enough CTI and military candidates to cover all hiring needs for that many states? That also assumes that enough of those candidates put those areas as their geo preference.

Seems unlikely that the entire region won't be hiring anyone. I can certainly see particular facilities in the Eastern region not taking on OTS candidates....but none?

I have no interest in the Eastern region so I could care less....but it doesn't seem very likely. If anything it probably helps my chances, because a lot of people wanted the East coast.

It's very simply not true, guys. He clearly has no idea what he's talking about. Do yourself a favor and ignore these types of posts. 80-90% of information relayed from televised news is inaccurate or embellished in some way, think about what the percentage must be in Internet forums! I notice a common trend among these posters too... low number of posts, they don't reveal any personal information (no signature line, etc.), they're not specific about who/when/how they received their information from, and they always say something like "sorry to be the bearer of bad news." Just smile and do your best to disregard their post.

Hahahaha. I assume flamebait means drama starter or something, but I can't help but think it means gay eye candy. It's actually the perfect word for that.

Yeah you guys I just got picked up too, it looks like I'll be working with John Cusak at N90, he's the area supervisor there now soo I'm pretty much set for life.
 
im going to take it this trojan guys post were deleted? because i cant seem to find them and your all quoting him. ifeel like im on the end of some joke where everyones in on it but me :'(

I got picked up too. In fact, the email is a bit sketchy on details, but it says something about me skipping OKC and just becoming the ATM for Salt Lake Center. Sorry, Trojan, guess my 88.4 was a little more impressive than we all thought :)

Wow! I got that same email!
 
So, this morning my dog knocked over a box of CD jewel cases onto my desk and computer keyboard, incidently it opened two firefox windows. One with a list of facilities in Florida, the mouse arrow pointing between TPA and TLH, and the other with the ASAP website.....

I think it might be an omen....

Trojan must have gotten picked up at both of those facilities :laff:
