FOL is on its way! I got my call today from J.A. at HR and he told me that my security clearance had finally come in and my class date is set for July 14.

Now I get to wait for another two and a half more months. At least now I know a date and for how long I have to wait until the next step in the process.

I just e-mailed my HR rep, and she told me. I already knew about security because I had to re-submit a form to the lady doing my security check, and I was able to check with her directly as to whether or not it was clear. For the rest, I just checked with my HR rep.
 
As jerms said, your HR rep would have the status of your information. That person would be listed with their contact info on your TOL. For me, I waited about two weeks after my PEPC to initiate contact, and I was told to allow 6-8 weeks for everything to be processed. It took a little more than the entire 8 weeks to finally get a call from HR saying that everything had cleared.

I emailed my HR rep monday, no response yet.. i figure chicago PEPC'ers are gonna be a while longer but hopefully we'll get the few good academy dates left.

i know some scantrons went out for me.

also someone from the LA pepc called to confirm i did my second urinalysis at the end of the pepc (the first one was no good). so at least i know somethings going on with those clearances


other than that, just crossing my fingers at this point. at the pepc we were told to call to check on the process 14-16 days later or so. i guess ill do that next week. its 13 days at this point
 
This is frustrating. I'll email my HR guy once or twice a week and the only thing I get back is "Waiting on your medical."

I don't know what's goin on!
 
Let me guess, your HR is J.A.? If it is, then thats just how he seems to operate. I've called him a few times and he has never returned my phone calls, and the four times that I have emailed him, he has only responded twice.

Not to worry though, because while I am sure he knows that we are just anxious to recieve an update, he only seemed to email when he actually had something to say. And he only called once to say that everything was clear, and discuss class dates.

My class starts tomorrow!!! The day has finally come, and its about time i'd say. I flew in to Oklahoma on Saturday, and I have been driving around getting aquainted with the area. I took a drive out to the front gate yesterday, which took me just about 20 minutes from my place. Everything seems to be going okay so far, and I guess since today is my travel day, I suppose I can say that I am now "officially" getting paid.:rawk:

Ok.. seriously.. when we get to OKC (I have a feeling all of us "FY-10 hawaii-ers" are going to end up at the academy together) we're going out for drinks to celebrate.
