PUBHI

I've never worked for an airline in Hawaii. I was with a local flight school, which in my opinion, operated more like an FBO. Anyways, those days seem like a long time ago, even though it has only been about 4 months since last flying with them. I am currently in the process of finishing up basics training here in OKC. Three more days to go, before moving into the tower cab training portion.:rawk:

well just landed today in hawaii. if any of you guys want to grab a beer and meet a future co worker hit me up

I'll hit you up when I get there.. which will be.... uuuuh.... some time after I go to OKC... and I don't even know when that is yet.

I do have your medical clearance now, but I'm not filling any class seats for HCF right now.

I wish I knew what this means. In the near future maybe?

it means that you have all of your clearances (i would assume you've already received your security clearance) and you're all lined up to receive your FOL when the time comes.

HCF is not getting class seats because the budgeting/seating info from the FAA/ACD has yet to be released.

I do know that HCF has submitted its HR needs (11 empty seats @ facility)
We just have to wait for ACD to give us the green light.

We'll be there soon enough, worry not!

right here man. So far, from what I understand the 4 that just got start dates for hcf are the only ones slated for a while.

I think.. and I may be wrong so don't take this to heart by any means.. that we may end up having to wait until sometime during the spring months.

(yay! that means I get to have 1 more season of mushroom hunting in NorCal!)

phone conversation with R.A.

i remember hearing something about the 4 start dates before the new year and then he was saying that it may take until spring for other people to get their start dates.

but that's all based off of the "as the situation stands" kind of information

as with the rest of the info we get from hr and the faa - it can change at any moment.
