I replied to the email stating that I wanted a place in the LA PEPC. Was that the email address I was supposed to respond do? When should I expect a confirmation email?

the weird thing about ending up @ HCF right now is that the center is ARTCC, TRACON and Tower operations all in one so there's still no telling what we'll end up doing quite yet.

I believe you responded to the right email address but I'm not sure how long it'll take for them to send you a confirmation. A whole bunch of PEPC invites went out yesterday but hopefully you get the PEPC of your choice. Did you get a chance to take a tour of HCF? If not, I highly recommend that you do so!!!

Congrats to all who got emails!!!

I understand some PEPC emails went out for HI on Friday. Do you think more emails will go out on Monday or should I assume if I didn't get one yesterday that I will not be getting one?

OKC HR said that if you don't get anything by mid-late february you were probably not selected. Don't worry about it until then.

I think friday was probably the first string of emails. more to come more likely than not.

I'm not trying to speculate too much b/c there's so much that goes on anyway here.. but that's what the lady told me. You should give OKC a call and ask them yourself.. that may help solidify it for ya

Hey Raydon and Tnakasaki congrats! I haven't checked my home email for a few days. Good to hear that you guys got your notice after all the wait. I hope to get home soon from work so I can check my email.

Did you get any notices on ASAP? or just through your email?

I hope to follow you guys to HNL but who knows only time will tell... :)


Also did anyone get a denied email as well from the FAA for not being picked?


EDIT: After reading Tnak invite letter it said respond by Feb 6 for the PEPC.... you guys think that is the deadline for everyone? So if you heard nothing yet before that date your SOL?
 
It seems by all the other responses in other threads that there are multiple PEPCs (ie Feb, March, etc). So if you don't get your email before the 6th, then you have the March and Apr Pepc to choose from.

Not 100% certain but If I'm not mistaken I remember someone on here mentioning that you will be trained in all 3 areas.

HCF to my knowledge is responsible for approach, depatures along with en-route services .....but you can definately call them and find out.....guess HNL is a tower opearation.
