No details on what it has yet. that should be out later this month.

Fellow Pilots,

1,556 days beyond the amendable date of our current collective bargaining agreement, the Pinnacle MEC is pleased to announce that this afternoon the Pinnacle MEC Negotiating Committee reached a Tentative Agreement on all sections of a new collective bargaining agreement with the Company.

The coming week will be spent going through the process of legal review, proofreading and dissemination of the finalized documents to the Pinnacle MEC. Once the MEC has had an opportunity to review the TA, the MEC will convene a meeting for final review and a ratification vote. This meeting is expected to take place the week of August 16th. Contingent upon MEC ratification of the Tentative Agreement, the full Tentative Agreement will be released to the pilot group for review and ratification.

Further information will be disseminated as it becomes available.

In unity,

Captain Scott Erickson

Master Executive Council, Chairman

My wife still thought I was joking when I said it this afternoon. Now, let's see what's in it. I haven't heard what was decided on dual qual yet.

My wife thought I was joking as well...

Really eager to see what it contains.

From what I've been hearing, it's pretty good. Retirement still sucks ass, but lots of improvements in other areas, and scope is excellent. Overall, sounds like a good deal.

If what I'm hearing is true (retirement sucks so we keep the medical benefits) I can kinda sorta live with that. I don't want to trade higher premiums on health insurance for a couple of percentage points on my 401k. I'd rather take the money I'd save on the premiums and invest it in something else. YMMV, though. I'm looking forward to reading through the whole thing (assuming it passes the MEC level), and I think we should have a get together in MEM where we just rip holes in it DW style so we can see potential problems. Any other MEM guys down with that?

So, will the pilot group vote NO if it sucks?

Josh, I hope so, man. I know there are gonna be some that vote "yes" just because and some that will vote "no" just because. I can only tell ya that if *I* think it's not an overall good contract, I'll be putting my "no" stamp of disapproval on it.

Well, you know. . .

They wear you out after 5 years. You want a little nibble of something nicer than what you currently have. Then eventually that nibble dissolves in your mouth, leaving you with nothing to chew on. Until the contract is amendable again, then you have to wait another five years for a little nibble of sugary goodness.

That's all.

I hope it's what you guys want, and I hope it jacks some corner in a long lost house up a little bit. I'd be really interested in seeing the scheduling section.

I see a big group event in mem if it goes to a vote. Your health premiums WILL rise over the life of the contract, most just think our insurance is the best- you get what you pay for, a benefit of no pay raises and an old contract was that we COULDNT be charged more- no longer the case. More will come as appropriate...

Name the time and place. Unless I am strapped into my seat in the airplane, I will be there.

Do you really think Kellwolf didn't already know this?

Either way congrats on the TA hopefully its close to what you all need and it helps raise the bar a little bit higher!

Do you?

It's a legit question, bro. The Pinnacle/Colgan thing is ripe for whipsaw; otherwise, why would they need scope improvements?

Our scope and parent letter is iron clad and DOES protect BOTH sides. It does us no good to beat up our brother (colgan) when our dad is a bigger threat with few allies.
