Pinnacle Corp., buys Mesaba

Not to throw this off topic or anything but is Pinnacle 8 hours or 12 hours bottle to throttle?

Home reserve with no call today. Probably because I'm ready reserve PM tomorrow, and they'd have to find someone to cover that if they used me for something today. It's not likely they'd just give me one out and back. They'd keep adding and adding until I either timed out, got an overnight or hit 8 hours of block. They actually did it to the point I was scheduled 8:05 of block one day. I overblocked at TUL-MEM leg waiting on a gate, and had a message to call crew skurglin' when I got in. Called, and they were assigning me a MEM-JAN-MEM that was gonna put me over 8 hours for the day. Informed them it wasn't legal, and they tried the "It was when we put it on your schedule." 'Course I said, "Yeah, but it's not when I'm being notified." Threatened with a MT, I threatened with the FAA, and that was the end of that.

Oh, what a joy to be bought by Pinnacle. The nightmare has begun.
 
Anyone know what time the the Pinnacle HQ office opens? I need to call them monday to ask a couple of questions.

Normally 9 am central, but I wish you luck in getting someone to answer the phone other than the receptionist.....

HR is expected to work 24/7. We have no FAA protections! LOL!

We are expected to monitor emails and voicemails over the evenings and weekends and respond. It goes with the job.

I got my fantastical mug today for my first day on the job at DTW...

I guess I shall welcome myself to the PinnaColAba family, even if I'm just working on the ramp! :o
