Pinacolaba SLI

Personally, I was...

July 1st, 2010 117 out of 450 26%
May 16th, 2011 959 out of 2998 32%

and....I'm happy about the award.

I'm on text-free thursday so I probably have quite a few as well. I dunno.

Well my heart goes out to everyone that got screwed (even you CC). Looks like most Colgan people lost relative seniority.... Have no idea about Mesaba or Pinnacle, hope everyone can move on and make this a better place to work.

But how much? A few percent? tens of percents? I lost 3% in my own SLI.

I don't have a clue, i have a buddy that says that only like 25 colgan people actually gained relative seniority, i have absolutely no idea if this is true or not. I can tell you that I'm at 49%, and the colgan class two weeks behind me everyone is 75% or below...... So those late Feb / early April 08 hires at Colgan lost a huge chuck of percentage seniority. Mine stayed the same.

My metric is "What can you hold now" compared to "What did you hold THEN" and if it's roughly the same thing. It's a win.

No one saved anyone in the situation.

Colgan was the junior group so it is not a surprise to see that there was a loss in realitive seniority. However most gained pure seniority
Pinnacle and Mesaba were the senior groups so it is no surprise to see that they lost pure seniority. However many gained realitive seniority.

When I say "gained pure seniority" I refer to the fact that most Colgan pilots are now senior to PCL and MSA pilots that have more longevity that them.

This was how it was supposed to go down. If one group gained realtive and seniority, it would be a windfall.

I've been trying to egg Rocketman into a pissing match all day and he hasn't taken the bait. But then, my iPhone is off so maybe he's been texting...

Sorry Dough. That's cause:
1) I honestly didn't/don't care about this all that much
b) I was out having a few beers with other Culliganites
IV) It still doesn't really matter, if I was moved up to #1 on the list I STILL work for a regional airline and that just plain sucks

If you are at 49%, you're senior to me and I'm an April 07' hire...

So if 50-75% was for jet FO, are the only pinnacle guys that are below 75% the guys hired after mesaba was bought? And to CC check your facts there are only 24 cjc 08 hires that kept their relative seniority, the rest all lost at least 20%.

You are correct. That RJ Jet FO group has the PCL pilots that were hired up till Fall 2008. There wasn't any hiring over there from Fall 2008 through July 1, 2010. So the CJC mid to late 2008 pilots who lost the greatest amount of relative, the ones who are 75% and below, are just below 2008 PCL JET FO's. It almost mimics a DOH at that point in the list and then changes back to a realitive/DOH hybrid in the bottom of the Prop FO class where CJC FO's find themselves senior to MSA pilots who have greater longevity.
