Overdue aircraft in AZ

Absolutely.

And we've been down this road far too many times.

We have some tools to help you through losing a friend to aviation.

The absolute best thing you can do is charge forward, learn all you can from the accident and fold those lessons into your flying.
True dat.
For this accident, from what little preliminary information there is, barring any obvious evidence, it might unfortunately turn into one of those where the only witnesses are now deceased, and with no FDR, CVR, or known radio call (to date); most actionable evidence or factors may never be known.
Maybe....though if the aircraft had an EFIS of any type it's quite possible that data could be pulled from that.

Cass im sorry to hear about this man...I just lost a coworker last month. Like everybody else said let us know if you need anything.

This is very sad. Sucks reading threads like this.

I am sorry for your loss and for all those impacted. This kinda stuff really changes people and has such a long lasting impact on everyone.

Like MikeD said, you never know when your time is up. Be safe out there.

Terrible news, very sad to lose one of our own. It never gets easy reading these things.
