- Set up a meeting, blow your cheeks wide while you sell the idea
- Enjoy the fat bonus for saving the company a gazillion $, never go back to check that the mod results in 0.03% of a rounding error savings
 
Hi guys I came across a really good (and free) A320 ECAM trainer for the iPad. Download from the App Store an app called iSpring Play. Then go to www.ipadecam.co.uk press Launch and you are good to go. Once the App is open you can download it to view offline, the download is around 600 mb.

Does anybody recommend any other good A320 apps for the iPad?

It also works on regular computers if you dont have access to an ipad.

As I make my way through my 737 training, I stand by my earlier statement, it's tough to find much to love about the baby Boeing. We passed our systems and procedures validation, and now on to the sim. People used to bitch about the workload in the -80, I think the 73 is right up there with the McBoeing for workload. The bus was like having an easy button, compared to this.

LMAO, Sounds about right. Actually I should have been more specific, the FO has a pretty high workload, I mostly just sit there, and look good. I lost count at 260 items, on the expanded cockpit preflight. We use the HUD, so no dual channel autopilot approaches, or auto lands. No autopilot coupled go arounds. But you can "fly it like a real airplane"..

All y'all wingin' bout Boeings and AirBi need to get yo' asses' back in a beat-out Bandit, 99, Lawndart, ... Navajo.
Maybe that old saw about Jet Engines vs Jet Pilots is true. ;)

Modern times are easy though.
Compare Phenom 300 buttons to even a Citation, and 90% of those few buttons stay in "Auto" unless QRH says otherwise.
