@SlumTodd_Millionaire was just on a Delta flt. yesterday. . .
For sure, there’s still some travel.
Wife kids and I will be on Spirit for winter break to see family.

You asked me, and I literally answered your question. But that’s a good one, I’ll use that in the future. Anytime someone on your side says something, the reply will be “you’re just looking for something to be up in arms about.”
There’s a reason why travel is still down, there’s a reason people like myself and slumdog aren’t traveling like we’d like to. There’s a reason why most of America isn’t back in the office (and only so many jobs are actually ones that can be done from home long term).
It's because you don't want to travel. You could travel outside of work if you wanted to. Post 9/11 has required more detailed screening to travel that is intrusive and inconvenient. Yet people chose to continue traveling. This is even less complicated and inconvenient than that.
Holy cow, revisionist history! First of all, the airport security called TSA is a complete theater, a joke. 9/11 happened with terrorists taking advantage of the allowed tools in those days (box cutters, knives of a certain length, etc). The TSA didn't make us any safer. Then we were told about some BS liquid bomb plot in 2006 and lost more freedoms, 3-1-1 rule that has been in place for 15 years now and hasn't changed ONE BIT despite a changing threat matrix in aviation. The TSA didn't make us safer, the private corporations could have done a better job with the updated rules and regulations the government required. But look where we are, and your sad defeatist attitude is spread amongst millions of Americans: "intrusive and inconvenient, yet people chose to travel." Wow, your government made something intrusive and inconvenient, why not stand up against it and vote to get it changed? In that sense, I can see where the anti-vax crowd is taking a stand. They don't want the govt mandating to them to take a jab.
I do travel outside work, to see my family twice/year. My vacation this year was Vegas/Grand Canyon. International travel inbound requires a negative Covid test. How do you expect me risk that with 2 kids, not vaxxed? Or even if my wife or I test positive? So we go to Cancun, if a kid tests positive, we're now hosed. Can't ditch a kid in Mexico and come home. Until these rules change, the risk matrix is too high with young kids who aren't vaxxed.
Defeatist? More like adaptive. I've adapted to things being the way they are until things get better. What you are advocating is continuing on a path that has not lead to positive outcome. All that will happen if unvaxxed people continue to disregard masking up is a new variant will form that outpaces the effectiveness of the current vaccines which will cause further COVID protocol. I prefer that we get off the hampster wheel.
So you are a perma-masker. Literally, by definition.

Great use of right wing media buzz words. What else do you have?
Your reading comprehension isn't that strong. He said that he wants it to finally be over, but that it will never be over, if people don't get vaxed. New stronger strains will just be created as a result.
Simple question:
Do either of you really believe we’ll get 100% vax rate?
No. So it’ll still spread amongst the unvaxxed and mutate. So what’s your plan? Masked up indefinitely. That is perma-masking.
Sorry, I was taking the CEO's words at face value. My bad.Patience.
Sorry, but I know more than you do.

And when someone with a “inside baseball” perspective says there’s more to the story, there probably is.
Oh no, I don’t do LCP rumors, but I wear about four or five proverbial “hats” around the shop.Alright, but you do understand you now fall under that category of "oh I heard from this one checkairman..."
Typically, checkairman rumors fall even below regular captain rumors. Isn't that the saying?
j/k

Stop dancing around the perimeter of becoming a management pilot, just do it already! Chief pilot Is calling!![]()
Conventional wisdom is that rumors from line check guys, instructors or chief pilots have a weird inverse component to them. The more “connected” the person is (or claims), the less likely anything they say resembles reality.
I’ve had a couple interesting conversations in that vein…”so what is it that so and so was supposed to have said? Really? No please, go on, you have my full attention”.
