Oh Delta...why oh why?

What was this tread about? Can't remember.

Walking through the terminal I saw a Delta pilot and said, "Sir, I think the tailor messed up your jacket. You have a double breast. The industry standard is single."

This is starting to feel like an episode of "The Gilmour Girls" where Lorelei finds Rory's topless selfies and asks about it in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner to remind her about "The Cloud"

Isn't that the same episode where Sookie and Richard are caught half naked drinking Richards VSOP and eating a cake one of his potential employees brought him?

@Seggy , did you ever find out the answer to your burning question? Maybe they wanted to be extra sure George (the Autopilot) could find the runway.

And don't pull a "semi-recent LCC entrant into LGA" and assume that since you're "here" and your gate is "right there" that it's kosher to go ahead and just take it into the ramp without coordinating with anyone.

You will not.

I almost got creamed by a scimitar coming around the corner.

Reminds me of Atlanta

"Everyone beware...the Koreans are on the ground and they're not talking to anyone."

*looks towards ramp 5 to see them taxiing right onto the ramp.*

Years ago, when I instructed at Williams, the contract tower used to add the tag "use caution for samurai in the pattern" to the ATIS when the Air China students came up from Ryan for their cross country trips.

Have you ever been to Ohare? Do you think that they could handle both in and outbound traffic on one freq?

Yes. Several times. I'm used to airports that split their ground and local controllers geographically.. like MSP, ATL, LAX, etc etc etc.. you know.. north, south, metering etc etc etc... Not one for inbounds and one for outbounds. I think this practice will change at ORD once all the east/west parallels are open/operating and everything else is closed (4/22 excepted).
