Oh Alaska/Boeing

Wouldn’t it be crazy if someone intentionally set up the cockpit with an optimal eyeball position, and then gave you a little alignment guide to help you set your seat properly for said eyeball position.
What’s wrong with a black and white diagram showing you that your sightline should simply be an extension of the slope of the glareshield?

Wonder how close that sucker came to hitting the horizontal stab? Yikes
I was texting with a few LCP’s about this yesterday…none of really think the plane would fly if took out an entire side stab.

The other thing we talked about…PDX-Hawaii, and it happens halfway there. Gonna make for a not so fun time.

The HGS makes it the main problem. This makes it a CA problem but if you sit too low, you can't read the HGS. FOs tend to sit lower than CAs do. Boggles my mind that the HGS was designed with a fixed position.

Apparently an iPhone can survive a fall from 16,000 ft.

(I don’t trust people who don’t have their phone auto-lock.)

"Seanathan" .....I don't trust people that call themselves Seanathan.

apparently he he was not observant enough to blur the other spot with the owners name
before he went to work on his thirst.

I wonder if they will just give the phone back, or the bureaucracy monster will keep it as "part of an ongoing investigation"?
