I mean as an Aviate sell job.
If you think I lose one ounce of sleep caring if the Aviate program or our regionals are staffed, man do I have a bridge to sell you.
What I do care about is giving people an accurate information so they can make an informed decision on their career.
I’m not an Aviate Mentor for United because I’m a company cheerleader. I truly enjoy helping the next generation of Pilot with their career. I’ve also specific told them, if an opportunity arises that would cause them to leave the program, we will discuss it without bias. I’m sure United wouldn’t love to hear that, but I’m here to help this kids make the best decision for their career. I hope it’s with United, but if it’s not, I wish them the best of luck and I still will be there for them as a mentor even if it’s not through the program.
I’m part of the recruiting team because I want to help influence what the future of my airline looks like. I had an amazing experience at my interview and wanted others to experience the same.
I’m also involved with ALPA grievance and just argued a case to the VP, but yes, again, company cheerleader.
I have no ulterior motive like you. I’m not trying to recruit people to United if they don’t want to be here. We have plenty of people that do. You weren’t picked to dance, and now need to convince everyone that you’re super happy where you’re at, and wouldn’t go to Delta/United if your life depending on it. We get it. I got the thanks but no thanks from UPS but I’m not on every thread of theirs trying to convince people not to go there because they didn’t want to dance with me.
I challenge you to try and contribute to this website in a positive way. Use your expertise to help instead of troll.
I would love to see it.
