Thanks brotha!
The "powers that be" that decided that we didn't need 1:1 training

ay didn't realize that we created a disincentive for the training department to keep the distance learning succinct. Notice how much time you spend clicking, confirming, opening and closing boxes, having a voice take 35 seconds to read what it takes you 3 seconds?

Crazy...
Maybe Buzz'll blow up the rat in front of the HQ to show our frustration and resolve...
Where are you based anyway, DTW?
Detroit Rock City the last 6 years. MSP 5 years before that. Sprinkled some TDY in MEM for a couple of months.
MSP:
Pros:
Good place to try out all those sweaters and thick socks your aunt keeps sending
GOOD CPO. Top drawer folks.
DC-9 flying out of there was the best. thing. ever.
Caribou Coffee
Feels good when you leave
Cons:
Cold. Way cold. Colder than the depths of hades. Colder than the tax man's heart.
Unless you're from there, or have a kid that plays hockey there, you might as tune out if you're flying with a local.
It's a LONG walk from G22 to F16.
If you meet a girl from there, go ahead and buy the grave plot there, because you. will. NEVER. leave.
DTW:
Pros:
Nice terminal, no delays or holding, fab de-icing crews.
National Coney Island for breakfast. Get the special. Can't be beat, and they open at 0500.
Wendy's AND Popeye's...although the Popeye's is kinda lame (I lived in NOLA....Popeye's there ROCKED)
Nice, clean, cheap hotels for commuters. Lots of options.
Council 20 reps are rock solid and have your back
Cons:
Cold...see above.
Other food choices are slim if your "Oil Level Full" annunciator is on.
MEM
Pros:
Great people.
Interstate BBQ
Interesting flying (back in the day)
Minimum hassle airport, at least until FedEX decided to fly in the daytime.
Cons:
Corkey's BBQ
You CAN get sick of BBQ after your 3rd month of TDY
Staying at the "SkyBox" in the terminal (since closed)
