NYC PEPC peoples

One of my patients, a disgusting old man, told me today that all he wants for his birthday is booze and a cheap hooker. Then he finished off that classy statement by saying he wants to take me home with him. :( To add to the massive grossness of it all another patient, and 8 year old girl, was sitting right near him and had to listen to this.

*shudder*

I really hope I have a TOL in hand at this time in two weeks. :o
 
My PEPC is on the 23rd at 9:00 a.m flying in on the 22nd. Staying at Best Western for one night. Cheap and ok hotel. Anyone else have there PEPC on the 23rd.

so do you get your tol at the pepc or do they mail it to you??

and with the fol? is it mailed???
 
Okay, I am really uneasy about telling my boss before having an FOL. I need to know exactly how long after PEPC they contact your current employer.
Someone.. Anyone help?!:hiya:

Honestly I am actually shocked you didn't tell me that this thread already exists, and that I should 'search' before I post mindless dribble all over your precious forum...

I talked to my HR rep last week about the OKC dates and she told me the sooner I got the PEPC out of the way the sooner she could put me in a class in OKC. Hence why I chose Feb. instead of march or april. She said everthing in OKC is currently booked up through beg. of May so the end of may, june and August have open slots for new trainees for OKC.
 
There is no such thing as a dumb question...but i might come close here.
My appointment/interview is at 11:00. Does that mean I don't need to be there till 11 or do I show up at 8 or? Didn't know how that worked.
 
So I have sent in my HR paperwork, and also sent back my 306 form or whatever it is and still no equip. Anyone else still waiting for theirs or is it time to start bugging my HR rep and PEPC person??
 
OKC called me today to confirm my PEPC date, time and location - again! I asked her about the OF306 and she said 'they are getting ready to do your group's soon' -(guessing she meant the remainder of the NYC PEPC folks?)

An FAA office in DC is where all the OF306's go and from there they coordinate with OPM to set our access up...sorry I think some of this info might be repetitive from another post...

I agree with Mike - no need to worry yet. Hopefully we'll have access by the end of this week.
 
I am good with mid to late may. I made the assumption that earlier pepc would be good. Glad to have confirmation of that.
 
I can see it now. OKC class date starts the week of my finals for this semester. *asks prof. to take exams early. "World doesn't revolve around you, I have 200 people to examine". Thats exactly what they will say...I feel it. So this semester shall be wasted...:banghead: BUT! I will have a career:rawk::rawk::rawk::rawk:

I don't think that would happen. If you explain how long you've waited for this job and that it would get you a career right away instead of waiting around after college I think he or she would understand. They just don't want to do things early for people going on vacation or that sort of thing. Just tell them how much their class has helped you and that you really think it will help you in the future and that you appreciate what they have done. You'll be fine.
