NYC PEPC peoples

Everyone post, if you find out, when your employer gets the letter. I am sure there are a number of us interested in when these start going out. Course I am hoping
I am not the first unless that means and earlier class date.....

woo hoo! TOL in hand. However, a quick question. Let's say hypothetically, I have had a criminal offence involving a decriminalized narcotic 5 years ago. Security and medical are both aware. The flight surgeon needs a substance abuse evaluation asap. Assuming I fax one to him in a timely manner, how long, if at all, would my application be delayed?

Depends if you have to pee into the envelope for a drug test. Carriers tend to move quicker with the drippy letters.

As long as they receive it soon, you should be fine. Our clearances weren't originally supposed to be done for 45 days, according to what we were told at the PEPC, so sending it in within a week or two won't really delay too much. I still have to have an x-ray done to prove I'm "clear" of anything, so I'm trying to get that in as soon as possible myself.

I don't think my current employer ever got a letter and my security clearance is in.

Got confirmation today that my security clearance has cleared. It was quick since I already had a clearance at my current job. :D
