Now that my airline is reaching the 21st Century...

I need a good EFB bag. Preferably, it would hold my iPad, 17" laptop, clarity aloft headset, and three days or so of my non perishable food. I'd also like to use my crew outfitter's allowance on it as well. Any suggestions?

I bought this one on the recommendation of @jtrain609 and it has worked out quite well for me. It is just slightly on the larger side of what I need, but it fits very conveniently next to the seat in the cockpit and in the overheads/under the seat while jumpseating.

Just out of curiosity, why are guys dragging food around with them? It's not like there's a dearth of food options in airports. This isn't the third world. Not always the healthiest, but most places are improving the selection. If you're hungry, stop and get something. The plane isn't leaving without you.

In the regional world, it is a combination of saving money, convenience, and attempts at healthy eating.

For me, it all comes down to cost.

I've done multiple months of airport food and multiple months of bringing my own food. The difference was an eye opener. I basically paid for my crashpad with the money I was saving my bringing my own food.

I've now gotten to where I do a combination of bringing my own food supplemented with "airport" food.

Oh how quickly you forget...

Regional pay (and per diem), especially in the early years, doesn't lend itself to airport food prices, even with the vaunted 20% discount.

Regional terminals often don't have the same food options the mainline gates do.

Regionals spend some time (strangely) at regional airports, where there are no food options.

Regionals often are doing multiple legs a day with very short turn times that don't allow for time to run inside to get food, even if there is something in side.

Regional crews often stay at crappy hotels in the middle of nowhere with no viable food options near by, especially at the time they get or leave.

EDIT: And outside of SFO Terminal 2 there are very few airport food options that are truly healthy.

Healthy eating is my main motivation. I try to take lots of dehydrated fruits, ramen recipes, jerky, oatmeal, and cliff bars.
Yup yup.
Look at the bellies on the old guys, there are a lot of unused treadmills at the airport Marriott's.

As for me, I have a luggageworks one simlair to hackers. It keeps a bag, 2 iPads, some food like finny stated and alcohol wipes.

It's weird how the Army won't let me come in once a month on a McDonalds, McDonalds, McDonalds diet. It's like they want me to be fit for something... jerks.

Luggage Works Flight Cube is good if you want a small "bag of holding". It carries a surprising amount, and can be also slung along as a purse/murse/haversack on overnights.

I'm thinking about upsizing (but not upGRADING) to the Luggage Works EFB Flight Bag, because I might want a thing or two more along with me. But I'd probably regret it.

Sorry, don't buy many of those excuses. 5 1/2 years of regional flying, been there, done that. Managed to survive and compete in marathons during that time without having to drag the grocery store with me. Still ate healthy.

Guess I'm just from a different time.

I'm sorry, but how is what I'm asking about a grocery store? I like having the stuff in the cockpit for longer legs. Not like I'm making a 5 course DeltaOne meal on every leg.
