Like I said earlier... if you screw up, just fess up and deal with it.
But, for goodness sake, don't be stupid. Don't do stupid stuff. Accidents happen, schtuff happens, but use your brain and don't be stupid.
Here's another interesting item:
I've never sat up front in a "bus" so I don't know how loud the wind noise is in the cockpit. So if both pilots were are having a verbal discussion and then add whatever ambiant background noise in the cockpit to that; could they hear the radios good enough to diferentiate the various radio traffic? They'll be really lucky if there isn't any certificate action taken against them by the FAA on top of what Delta will do to them for breaking company policy.
You mean in the cockpit? I doubt DeltaWest has internet on their planes.I bet they were on Jetcareers...
...and C141loady...get back there and get me some coffee!!! If we wanted your opinion, we would have asked for it! :laff:
There's that "Fred" stuff again...I got some coffee for you. Want cream with it? How about a litte colon blow to sweeten it? Perhaps a 10k chain under your seat cushion? heh.
You been travelling man? I have been telling off-topic Fred jokes again and you haven't caught me this time! :laff:

The A320's cockpit is quiet enough to take the headsets off during cruise (based on my experience jumpseating on one a couple of times)
No way they were on the internet, Deltawest having wifi? Ha! Maybe if one day after they get audio or video on the domestic fleet, which they don't even have.
DL has wifi on a ton of its planes yes, but NW has no IFE other than magazines on the A319/320, DC-9s, and 757s.
Win.I bet it was an argument about GoJet, jumpseat privileges, and union cards.

Can you imagine wifi on the Diesels?! LOL!!!No way they were on the internet, Deltawest having wifi? Ha! Maybe if one day after they get audio or video on the domestic fleet, which they don't even have.

I did! I know for sure SouthernJets has wifi on quite a few of their planes. NWA's fleet, particularly the narrobodies, were doubtful. I'll accept wrong if I am.Don't speak before you research.
We've got wifi on quite a few planes- I'm not sure about the status about "north" airplanes, but I know it is being installed.
That being said, I doubt they were on teh interwebz.
After reading in more detail their story that came out from the NTSB today- I think it's certainly plausible that they are telling the truth.
The north guys are going through a tremendous amount of changes (80% of their policies and procedures are changing and have changed to the south's version)- and the busses just changed over to the south's bidding. I can see how it can happen... though in no way is it excusable to not pay attention to Fifi.
That'd be pretty badass. One positive thing I can say about the merger is once DLs IFE gets installed on the NW planes, people are going to want to come back. Can you imagine wifi on the Diesels?! LOL!!!
