I'm all in for Vegas. Despise being trapped on a boat and I also have VIP tix for the When We Were Young festival on the 19th.

I’m ok with shifting forward in the month… first or second weekend work just as well as the third… maybe even better… less F1 craziness.

So, it looks like nothing is currently being planned for next month.
Pricing hasn't fluctuated at all considering the economy and what's been happening on the strip the past few years. Hotel space has not been reserved so my assumption is that Derg might work on something for next year or might not, I don't know.

We discussed an October cruise but that never came to fruition.
The cruise invitation we've put out, I think Doug listed it in Meet & Greets (?), is for January 4-11, 2026 trip on Norwegian Bliss down to the Mexican Riviera (Cabo, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta). We've already booked and you all are more than welcome to join us!
We'll be on Deck 11 with Haven amenities. 😁

We'll also, obviously, be going back to Alaska, on a cruise, again multiple times next year and we're thinking it might be fun to branch out a bit to different domestic and global locations at different timeframes where festivals, entertainment, food will be readily available (similar to but not Las Vegas)....like Chicago's Christkindlmarket preview night on November 20. Take NJC to more of a M&G level. 🤷‍♀️

Si as of right now does this mean no NJC this year? I’d be down for a Mexican cruise if Vegas isn’t happening. The Westwind boys and I are discussing something at the end of October and I suggested NJC…..but me thinks it ain’t happening.

Maybe we should do an announcement/halloween party in Phoenix. Tacos? The official date of the party is TBD depending on training schedule.

I have to revisit it and see if we’re going to try in 2026 in October.

Vegas is basically a big-assed post-apocalyptic construction site because of F1 and it wrecks the experience. Plus Vegas’s experiment with surge pricing (“What’s a $4 burrito worth to you? $75? $100? How about our new Taco Bell burrito table service with a WHOLE bottle of Dasani starting at $247.99? Credit cards gladly accepted”) whooped last years attendance. Plus, this year, I haven’t been this professionally-slammed during my entire career.

I might try to throw it in a less F1-impacted month or just, well, I don’t know, we’ll chat about it!
