Taking a poll on opportunities we have for this year's NJC meetup. There are cruise opportunities as well as Vegas.

Week 43 is October 19-26 yet we're open to moving it up a week or down a week, if needed.
@derg, unfortunately, does not have a vacation week so he'll have to bid around the timeframe.

MGM rewards comp room rates are currently available and yes, they include October! Comp rates MUST BE BOOKED BY MARCH 31!
So, log into your MGM Rewards account and check out the various hotel comps.

Here are the options, so far. Feel free to input your own ideas in the comments.
FYI - Florida or Texas cruises are not listed because October is Hurricane season.

I can't ever get on another boat again in my life for a "cruise". But if you guys want that, I'll try and get there for a pre-sail dinner again!

Bruh, just think about last time. You almost considered going, "if not".

Consider it! :)

Vegas just isn't magic the way it was a decade ago. It just feels like a really weird hotel lobby where the only water is Voss at $18 because of the assumption that you're on an expense account.

I'm the same with AMG....I've done a 6-month cruise on a lovely grey-colored ship with planes landing round the clock. Just doesn't hold the appeal for me. 🤷‍♂️

Which I fully understand.

Vegas probably needs to happen in a different time frame because October, there entire strip is just backstage for the F1 race and everything is straight-up JACKED.

I could get into that

And my wife has been bugging me about taking the boys to europe. Seems like a good side detour when they get too crazy, and i need a break

Well, there could be two NJC's? Why not? Like, the spirit of the whole thing is networking. Being "officially sanctioned" has felt kind of secondary to me, but I'll defer to the benevolent dictator.

If you do the NYC sailing, you can have a pre-cruise NJC meetup a day or two before. This way, people who can't get the time off or don't want to cruise are included.

That being said, I prefer the NCL Mexican Riviera sailings.

October has become the busiest month in my life over the last several years, Kids birthdays, anniversary and I was rebased into that month for recurrent 😑.

That particular week in October has become super busy with the when we were young fest, and the upcoming F1 race.

I know it would be quite a bit cooler but the end of February beginning of March might be less busy for Vegas? And then maybe plan another event Sept/October?

Dang, so many people still want Vegas. Im down for whatever but my vote is 6 day cruise to Cabo. Can’t wait! Hopefully I’m not obligated to Denver in October!
