They're using the Casino Express\Xtra Airways operating certificate and launching service with $19 fares from BUR to ACV, RDM, BZN, EUG, GJT, MFR, PSC, AZA, OGD, RDD, and STS. Former United exec at the helm.

WTF? Over.

Dispatch guys have been on this one:

What could possibly go wrong?
Are you doubting their ability to fill 189-seats in a part of the country that is still nervous about traveling flying from an LA satellite airport to places that see 2 RJs per day? Are you insinuating they couldn't even give those seats away for free right now? Are you saying that you don't think $111 in revenue from ACV-BUR will break even? Are you, commie?

Interesting that they advertise themselves as a shuttle service for tech remote workers, I guess who need to get to BUR but then go back home to MFR or OGD where they live cheaply. Interesting, but I'm not buying it...

WTF? You ever seen a brown box-driver's first year pay stub? I am a MAN OF THE PEOPLE now, and my bank account is testament. Luckily, I still have an Adidas track-suit stashed away next to a handle or four of rot-gut Wodka, so I will consider your suggestion, Tovarish.

LOL I am looking at trying to get on their inaugural STS-BUR then back the next day and do an article for Airways magazine, I notice the first BUR-STS flight is sold out. $39 STS-BUR for the 1st flight, $19 in both directions forever on. But get this; their schedule runs on 15 minute turns! With a 737-800! So if you're an hour late, the next flight is 45 late already. Good luck with that.

Think there's a mistake somewhere in there - it's ~40 minute turns.

Founder spent 2-years at UAL as CFO, but cut his teeth as co-founder of Allegiant, ultimately leaving as President and COO.

The day I searched, the website itself when buying a ticket said 1540 arrival into STS, 1555 departure. Dunno, maybe just that day?

Except for day 1, the schedule is

1540 - 1705 BUR-STS
1745 - 1920 STS-BUR
Ah OK, so normally it will be 40 minute turns. I'm hoping to fly out day 1, one window seat left, packed flight mostly STS-BUR, but BUR-STS has like 10 people on it the next day haha. Not sure what I'll do in BUR for a day but it'll be a cool opportunity and I can write it off if the article gets approved. So random that STS is the first route of a new airline, Sun Country and Allegiant couldn't even make STS work when times were booming. AS is the only airline that has had real success there.
