Up up and awaaaaayyy!
Ok folks here's a question for you all. I was in a FBO this weekend and heard a CFI and the FBO owner discussing whether a pilot needs to carry their logbook with them at all times when flying. The owner said no he just needs to log the flight and only needs his cert on him all the time. The CFI said yes he does need the logbook all the time because he has to prove currency in the event of a ramp check.
I know what my CFI told me and what I've seen on an actual ramp check, but I'm curious as to what you all think.
