August was 98hrs for ATL CRJ CA...with a window of 88-118 (cover sheet data). Happens all the time during the "busy months".
It is far from the regular is my point. Additionally, set your PCT to 60 and the new threshold will be whatever the final bottom of the window ends up being during the bid run solutions. A TLV of 98 does not by any means indicate that every pilot will have a schedule built to that value.
I'm still away from home and not able to access the historical data via this machine, but all my point is that its not a fair representation of our PBS to claim that we see a 100 TLV all the time.
I have worked very closely with members of our scheduling committee on a number of matters and hopefully over the next few weeks we will be able to highlight essentially a PBS refresher "training" for our pilots. You would be amazed at how many folks fail to reach out for help during vacation months and then they end up boning themselves because they were not as strategic in their bid as they needed to be, or worse - they just were not knowledgable enough in the system to make it do what they desired it to do. There are a lot of folks that were not around when PBS launched and they missed out on the in-lounge training and I am pushing really hard to have someone present in our lounges during bidding. Face-to-face instruction is far better than phone or e-mail instruction, but ultimately our pilots need to reach out when they have questions because our PBS is extremely flexible and will allow any pilot to hold what they desire, if their seniority will hold it vs. certain other system philosophies.
Feel free to hit me up if you want any help.
