if you have an app in for AA there is hope ….. they must be dredging the bottom of the pile.

I applied to AA and US Airways in 2013 when they announced the merger. i got called for US Airways and a CJO in 2014. Never updated my AA app since I applied 8 years ago. Today I get an email that they will be contacting me for a video interview.

i can’t imagine my app scored very highly and that they considered it at all since I haven’t updated it since 2013 and all it has for flight time is all my FO time at American eagle and it has nothing Indicating what I’ve done the past 8 years…

so I dunno ….. still I’m not expecting any further contact or that they will follow up with any contact as my app is not up to date and I haven’t done anything they’re asking me to do and I think I published it in 2013 but not anything since.

LOL.

I got a fix-it email from Delta in 2018. Fixed it the same day. Still waiting on the call.

Hey at least you got the fix it email. I never heard a word from Delta in all of my years applying. I stopped updating about 2 years ago.

yup, I recieved "fix it emails" from American, still never heard anything.

Had relatives at United...including high up three letter titles and never heard a thing...stopped updating 3 years ago (couldn't be happier not to deal with that crap)

Except that doesn't really solve a staffing crisis unless you're significantly cutting capacity also.

Agreed, plus it’s a very expensive way to gain staffing.
