Malaysia Airlines 777 missing

Read this article by Les Abend. In fact, somebody once told me that the term First Officer was invented because Les is never second.

Throw a 'stash on Gary Cole and it's a pretty food likeness...

Man, it's gotten crazy. I decided to try to inject some knowledge about why they lost track of the plane, and said the oh so logical they don't have radar over open water. Where would you put the tower? And then I said that on flights that go over the water, they rely on position reports from pilots to tell them where the plane is.

Someone said that oh, the military has ships out there sending radar up to create a surveillance system for safety and to prevent invasions.

I said, do you realize how many ships it would take to cover the ocean like that?

And he said I know they're doing it.

I asked for proof.

He said I don't need any, I know they're doing it and they shot down the plane.

Can I just kill him and help raise the IQ of the country by a few percentage points?

I had no idea Bill Nye the Science Guy was a mechanical engineer for Boeing. He developed a hydraulic pressure suppressor for the 747.

I went to college with him. But my science was limited to that needed to minor in nutrition science. Go Big Red! :)

Can't we get some of there objects on a boat for inspection?

From what I've been gathering as I skim the news every few days, is that they're having a difficult time getting a positive location ID due to bad weather in the area hampering the search efforts.

Again, until somebody holds up at a press conference a piece of luggage tagged MH370 I wouldn't be getting my hopes aroused. How many times have we seen these pronouncements these past three weeks?
