Malaysia Airlines 777 missing

The way I read it, I think he was referring to ATC/air defense radar operators and not the pilots. No matter. His statements have no credibility either way.
I'd like to tell that fellow where he can stick his "opinion"

Interestingly enough, every controller works day shifts, evening shifts and midnights EQUALLY... MY GOD THE HUMANITY THAT MEANS ALL CONTROLLERS ARE B CONTROLLERS.

Certain death is around the corner

No, just curious if they had a radar return in the general area at about the time the plane would have been there.
Given the Aussies were planning to search there before that theory surfaced, I'm guessing they saw the airplane on the JINDALEE OTHR system. For some reason, they think the world doesn't know that's how they saw the aircraft, and it's all hush hush, in case you know, someone wants to invade Australia....

This whole investigation has reached a level of idiocy not seen before.

Why isn't a reporter asking the Aussies

"Did you see a target in that area on your OTH-R system?"

If the answer is no, it's no.

If the answer is "Can't comment at this time, because our 60 year old technology is top secret" Then it's yes.

After further review, I think I will open my own aviation only news channel...

Mid-Thirties, and I've lost all faith in humanity already... which is OK I always wanted to be a crotchety old guy

Freight pilots aren't real pilots. They don't even fly "commmercial". I guess they couldn't hack that type of flying.
Apparently our governmental entities believe this since they excluded them from the new rest rules and have made only baby steps/gave up in enacting certain fire suppression equipment, or EVAS systems, etc. for freight crews flying lithium ion batteries and all sorts of often illegal and mis-labled chemicals. Burns my ass. I don't worry so much over the water my son crosses, or the wx (I coped with all of that myself) or his plane. I fear the damn cargo he carries.

You added to the post, which ruined my joke.

Un-like ;)

Yes, literally. Do you know how much chemical cargo that is either illegal, not packaged properly, mis-labeled intentionally by the sender, mis-labled for other reasons that is found during inspections? What about the cargo that is not found? It happens more often than you would think. The battery issues also still make me nervous.

Sorry, I do that all the time.... I write....read it and add crap and/ or change crap and I am often typing while working and doing other things. Plus I go back and fix my typos hopefully, or re-word something. I've done that in this post twice now. I am a horrible typer and my brain out runs my fingers. Oh and I am old. lol

I haven't burned my ass since the last time I had jambalaya though.

ZOMBIE PLANE OMGZ

Sen. Saxby Chambliss doesn't know what he doesn't know. Interview with Megyn Kelley on Fox: "We know, for example, that somebody manually turned that transponder off. Those that have examined it, particularly the folks from Boeing who obviously made the airplane, from what they have been told there just simply is no way that a catastrophic event turned that transponder off. Somebody had to manually turn it off."

So does catering actually dry hump the desserts like Jim Levenstein from "American Pie"?

Of course not...:stir:

But please tell me you sniff test the mayo dressing in the crew sandwiches before chomping down...

Anything peticular about the texture? Color? Smell?

Hopefully you guys get fancy mayo & mustard dressing in a packet.

Is that the 777 sim guy on CNN? He looks like a Latin king. I think he's wearing jorts

Yup! Thats the guy. He looks like he wants to eat the right seater's face every time he touches something. Ill bet Mitchell barely sleeps more than 3 hours night before he gets the call "Hey, Mitch, can we meet you at the sim at 0400. We have a theory we want to test out"
