Surely I can... I've lead the catering of Int'l flights. Done crew handovers, etc. Previous to that I've also worked as Agent for Int'l airline, I've been first person o/b before boarding, and last person off aircraft after off load. I've seen so much that can't be said publicly throughout my aviation industry career.
Surely I can.
In my opinion you're at least on the B team. Maybe even B+ teamSo those of us that are flying at 1, 2 and 3 o'clock in the morning aren't exactly "A Team" pilots according to General McInerney.
News to me!

We have a saying about pilots flying on weekends...In my opinion you're at least on the B team. Maybe even B+ team![]()
Rofl. CNN just said he probably had a simulator at home because Malaysian Airlines didn't have the resources to have their own training simulators like Delta does.
How many are you?On pprune.org the thread about this incident has over 10.2 million views.
Amazing.
This entire deal has proven without a doubt that the 24-hour news networks...all of them... should never ever be trusted for anything....ever.So those of us that are flying at 1, 2 and 3 o'clock in the morning aren't exactly "A Team" pilots according to General McInerney.

Correction, I'd discount that theory.
That is pretty damn pathetic. Where and when did Boeing ever state that they believe that the damn plane is in Pakistan? So those of us that are flying at 1, 2 and 3 o'clock in the morning aren't exactly "A Team" pilots according to General McInerney.

Not the A team??? So senior Captains with high flight hours and many years of experience are not the A team? Then who the hell is?
And they flew in the shadow of another aircraft. Give me a fricking break.
The 24 to 48 hours time frame has passed and nothing from Pakistan or the Malaysian government on any of his speculations.
But then what can you expect from a man who made these statements:
From World Net Daily December 10, 2010.
“Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney predicts the incoming Republican-controlled House of Representatives will launch an investigation if Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin is convicted in next week’s court martial.
Lakin is on trial for refusing to obey orders to deploy to Afghanistan. He challenged the orders because he questions President Barack Obama’s eligibility to serve as commander-in-chief of the armed forces. His court martial is scheduled to begin Dec. 14.
“It looks like he’s not being treated fairly,” said McInerney in an interview Friday on Denver talk radio station KHOW.
“It’s important that he gets a fair trial, which means discovery. Since the Army will not allow that I believe in the final analysis that this will be overturned, but he may have to go to the slammer in Ft. Leavenworth.”
Lakin had hoped through the discovery process to force Obama to produce documentary evidence demonstrating his birth and citizenship status so that Obama’s authority to give orders as commander-in-chief would be demonstrated or disproven.
As reported earlier by WND, court martial judge Col. Denise Lind, however, simply declared the orders received by Lakin were valid. Lind refused to allow Lakin to address the underlying eligibility issues and limited the scope of the trial to whether Lakin had knowingly disobeyed orders.
McInerney called on Congress to “do its job” and determine whether Obama is constitutionally eligible to serve as president.
“[Lakin] really had a very important point. He is not a birther, he is a constitutionalist,” said McInerney. “Now it shouldn’t be the job of a lieutenant colonel and flight surgeon in the U.S. Army to be the constitutionalist. It’s the job of the Congress and the executive agency to do that. But we’ve had 44 presidents of the United States and only one, the current president, has not shown a valid birth certificate.”
McInerney suggested Lakin is certain to be convicted if the court martial proceeds.”
And for the record, Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, a doctor who refused deployment to Afghanistan because he questioned whether President Obama was born in the United States, was dismissed from the Army today and sentenced to six months in military prison for refusing to obey orders.
Lakin pleaded guilty for failing to obey orders. Lakin was set to deploy from Fort Campbell, Ky., in April, for his second tour of duty, but he never showed up. During the trial, the Colorado native acknowledged that he should have followed orders despite his concerns about Obama's citizenship. he even made a You Tube video where he stated his doubts about the president and demanded proof.
Oh and this is another the General's brilliant ideas:
Former Lt. General "Goes There": Calls for all Muslim men between 18-28 to be strip searched:
A recent FOX News Saturday guest, retired Lt. General Thomas McInerney offered a solution to terrorism on American airliners, religious profiling: "If you are an 18-28-year-old Muslim man then you should be strip searched. And if we don't do that there's a very high probability we're going to lose an airline." McInerney's solution is many things (swift and decisive, for instance), but is primarily ignorant of two portions of the US Constitution, The first and fourth amendments.
The FOX anchor implied that such violations would, and rightfully so, cause unrest: "That's just not going to go over, not in this country," she told McInerney, who simply declared that religious freedom and protection from such profiling through illegal searches were "part of the problem".

That's how I read it also, but it's some guy on Hannity so both are immediately discredited lolThe way I read it, I think he was referring to ATC/air defense radar operators and not the pilots. No matter. His statements have no credibility either way.
Someone posted this link earlier... http://www.weathergraphics.com/malaysia/contrail.shtml - possible contrail
- I took the satellite image and added to coordinates of where the suspected debris was found and a few other images...
- I look at the ocean currents in the area too from the south west heading north east - remember that 4 knots of current (fast I agree) will drift items by 100 miles in 24 hours.
- the high level winds were shown at 230/100 which could indicate surface winds of 200 (if I remember anything - or is it 260 because it is south of the equator?) regardless the expected drift would be east north-east I guess.

This looks like three independent pieces of evidence - but who knows for sure yet - I just hope that when all is said and done the pilots are vindicated and we can stick a finger up at the news media who have tried to tar and sully them with subtle innuendo and applauding reporting without one shred of evidence.
I also suspect and hope that the SAR efforts have been way ahead of the information leaking from "unnamed sources" which, it seems to me, that the "unexpected" search areas and focus are supported subsequently by leaks and press statements, sometimes days later. As I said some time ago, one would not expect every lead to be exposed in an ongoing search and investigation.
I hope, for all the family and friends of the missing, that a final conclusion is reached for them soon and that this mystery does not remain a mystery forever, or until the plane is found by accident some 50 years later.
You're going down that rabbit hole?Any cooberating radar?
