My VW truck at home went through the snow no problem. We used to go out into fields during the winter and cruise around in them. The VW truck is front wheel drive and should do pretty good in Wx,
Pun intended? Good luck with the flying!
I got a set already waiting for this winter!. I was told that's a must. You might think about getting a studded set of tires if you're not going four wheel drive.
Congrats. :>I got the phone call I been waiting for. I am now an A&P apprentice! Well starting Monday. The exact reason I moved up here to pursue a career in aviation and of course the mountains. This is going to be a great and exciting adventure!
I made that clear in my interview with them. They fully understood.Congrats. :>
Hopefully you made it clear to your previous two employers where you were trying to end up.

Amazing! Let this be a lesson for all. With commitment, desire, planning, drive, enthusiasm and the ability to actually get off your ass and just go for it-you can make anything happen. A car and a job already! I am impressed. This is really awesome! Good on you, young man! Congrats! Enjoy your adventure and keep us updated. Can't wait to see how you are progressing. Alaska, look out!!!!
Thank you sir!. It sure has been a blast up here. It's turned out to be everything a expected and more!!!!Amen to that...truly an inspiration! Job well done iffyaviator! My hat's off to ya!
I been enjoying every minute of being up here. I do miss home at times but that's just because it was familiar to me and I knew everybody.Hope you enjoy it up here. I was born in Kodiak, and have lived here most of my life (besides a few years in California as a kid and then my time in the military). While I do keep coming back, I want the hell out...But I'll be back if I leave. Always happens.
