So I have been here since Sunday morning. I bought myself a little beater VW diesel truck to get me around this place and got a job as an rv tech assistant. I start today! Now that I have wheels and income It will be easier to get into some where's I want.

I think that $285 dollar plane ticket was the best money I have ever spent.!!

So do I.

Amazing! Let this be a lesson for all. With commitment, desire, planning, drive, enthusiasm and the ability to actually get off your ass and just go for it-you can make anything happen. A car and a job already! I am impressed. This is really awesome! Good on you, young man! Congrats! Enjoy your adventure and keep us updated. Can't wait to see how you are progressing. Alaska, look out!!!!

Today after work I stopped off at Merrill Field and dropped off my resume to a few companies. Out of 3, 2 of them seem very promising. I also stopped off at a flight school and asked about their rates and instruction they offer and transitioning from Michigan flying to Alaska flying and getting into the hang of things up here.
I currently am working as an RV Tech Assistant at a RV rental place. Really looking forward to getting into aviation up here!.

Nice! Where did you drop off resumes?

Are you working at the place next to one of my favorite hole in the wall places by the airport?
