Allen Corporation of America Ft. Worth, Texas:<BR />Summary: Join a fast-paced&nbsp;flight operations environment as a Light Twin Instructor Pilot. You will be part&nbsp;of a flight operations team and conduct training and check flights within an established&nbsp;Light Twin /Single-Engine program. Aircraft utilized are both the PA-44&nbsp;G-500/G-1000 and CE 172 G-1000 aircraft. Your skills and knowledge as a certified flight instructor will be utilized&nbsp;to deliver the provided curriculum to our customer, the Federal Aviation&nbsp;Administration. &nbsp;This is the ideal job&nbsp;for a certified flight instructor with ambitions to work within the FAA, or the&nbsp;broader aviation fields of Part 91, 135, or 121 operations. &nbsp;You will fly well-maintained and equipped aircraft&nbsp;that utilize autopilots and glass instrumentation while enjoying a quality&nbsp;schedule and a competitive salary.<br /><div>&nbsp;</div><div>ESSENTIAL&nbsp;DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific tasks to be performed by the Light Twin Instructor Pilot include but are not limited to the following:</div>&#8226; Provide flight training and checking in the PA-44 and CE-172 aircraft.<br />&#8226; Conduct pre-flight and&nbsp;post-flight briefings covering essential topics such as weather, route of&nbsp;flight, departure procedures, normal/emergency procedures, and tasks to be<br />accomplished.<br />&#8226; Maintain a thorough knowledge of the aircraft systems, avionics, normal, and&nbsp;emergency procedures.<br />&#8226; Conduct all assigned instructional activities with an emphasis on safety, in&nbsp;accordance with our Safety Management System (SMS) program.<br />&#8226; As Pilot-in-Command, apply the principles of Crew Resource Management.<br />&#8226; Utilize teamwork, multitasking, task prioritization, effective communication,&nbsp;and time management skills. <br />&#8226; Complete flight-related forms as necessary. <br /><div>&#8226; Other duties as assigned.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>WORK&nbsp;ENVIRONMENT: Alliance Airport (KAFW) is a Class D airfield located beneath the&nbsp;DFW class B airspace. &nbsp;Other operations at&nbsp;Alliance include GA, corporate, flight schools, drone and military operations on&nbsp;any given day. &nbsp;IP&#8217;s enjoy a relaxed&nbsp;office environment between flights. &nbsp;The&nbsp;schedule is 4 days on, 3 days off, with typically 2 flights per day. &nbsp;Federal holidays are observed. &nbsp;The starting salary is $45,000 with benefits. &nbsp; &nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>PHYSICAL&nbsp;DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are&nbsp;representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform&nbsp;the essential functions of this job. <br /><br />&#8226; Able to sit and work at the controls of an aircraft for extended periods of&nbsp;time.<br />&#8226; Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.<br />&#8226; Able to perform general flight operations activities on a daily basis.<br />&#8226; Able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div></div><div>&nbsp;</div>
