Life at Compass

no they don't have flow but Sky is a very financial stable company .....upgrade time is going down to 3-4 years but I would rather be experienced to be sitting in the captain seat then getting there in one year without knowing good stuff. I can give you 100 reason to join skywest. but compass is a good company as well as they are growing...if not skywest compass can definitely be the second option ( my personal opinion)

*Giggle*

Well good thing in order to upgrade you need atleast 1000 121 SIC, doesn't matter where you get it. Hey did you know we have quite a few people leaving Skyweezy to come to Compass?

Anywho back to what this thread is supposed to be about.

wow never heard about that but why leaving skyweezy ?

Akshat put down the microphone now, you're drunk from all that interview kool-aid. You're making a fool of yourself and perpetuating a negative stereotype for all your soon to be SkyWest peers with all that swag. I of all people don't need to be sold on the wonders of Skywest.

Don't worry you will get to fly that sick CRJ200 soon enough.

Because they want to actually upgrade.
if you say so sir , I respect their decision......but they should think about this before interviewing, there are airlines out there throwing upgrades in 1 and half years or less....hirin by phone as well ( piece of cake to get in but far away from the quality and stability)

hehe , no problem Sir i understand what you are trying to say, I worked hard to get in there and I have respect for the airline. I even respect C152,CRJ 200 is a big deal to me. I love flying, I do not care about the aircraft.
I apologize if I am sounding negative. I did not mean to be. :)

Not negative, cocky. Your celebrating passing your interview on the Compass forum. But that's cool, good drama pumps the ratings up. Michael Jackson is out there somewhere eating popcorn and reading all this.

And theres Skyweezy guys that had over 4 years there leave.

Wow I'm gossip!
Make it 3 years though. I just done outed myself!

Gotcha. Are the brasilias still going to new hires?

I'm with ya on the quick upgrade, not always the best. I'm gonna bid FO for a while regardless.

According to the conference call, DTW closing end of May and SEA-FIA starting in September.
I find this particularly interesting because in my interview last month I asked about these possibilities and was told DTW was definitely not closing and SEA was definitely happening.

You're not gossip.

Upgrade is down to just over a year. People that were awarded an alternate slot (or whatever you call it) were started 1/14. But these are for classes in March and April.
