Life at Compass

The Cincy 170/175 sim has them screwed right into the sill area just aft of the existing paper chart holder. Seemed to work pretty well. Might hinder egress in the actual airplane though...

In the 145, I always reset the suction cups if i was flying above Fl300 for any amount of time. Also taking the iPad out of the holder during cruise prevents any inadvertent falls.

With the cut down of LAX-SFO and the loss of LAX-SEA this summer how will the company flow crews and planes up to SEA? I'm counting 19 daily departures out of SEA by the end of the year. Is there a way to do it without making it a base?

The flights didn't go away, just to mainline. They will just DH people around...

They can also link crews through cities that are both served by LAX and SEA, i.e. LAS, SAN, SMF etc. I didn't see the shuttle completely eliminated, just reduced, so more links through SFO too. New routes via BOI, PDX, YVR, SJC OAK, SLC, PHX, DEN,TUS, and Montana cities can also be shifted around by then too. SEA is a great candidate for a new domicile, but I'm sure it can be avoided if they really don't want it.

According to the conference call, DTW closing end of May and SEA-FIA starting in September.

Anyword on new domiciles opening to replace DTW? The 30 FOs will just fill into MSP and LAX? I know where the 30 CAs are going...
