They will be mounted. Please be careful with the iPads. Remember we don't have a ton of protection with these items and ONLY use them for company related ops.
Um, just to clarify, WHICH mount is the company providing? Ship-assigned mount or crew member assigned mount?
Not till after the Jepp subscription has run out and the company has to scramble to figure out how to get us current charts preventing the airline from shutting down. When are the holders supposed to show up? April?

I'm waiting for a suction cup mount to show up attached to the screen of the old EFB's.
I wonder if that guy was trying to be funny or is just that crazy. At any rate, hilarious video.
Legitimate concern.. Had the ram mount fall off the window several time at my old shop. Thankfully it fell right into the 40 lb flight kit full of Jepps that I was still required to carry around because the company couldn't put together an iPad program that was worth a damn...I wonder if that guy was trying to be funny or is just that crazy. I haven't gotten my iPad yet; I was kind of hoping the union would put out an email outlining who would be responsible for the iPad if it were to be damaged (say the "Ram Mount" falls off). Did I miss something? Or is it simply too much wishful thinking for possible damage assessments to be objective rather than subjective?
FIFYCaptain Pete is wicket funny!
What plane if you don't mind me asking? At my shop the 145 guys are always having to remount it, but the CRJ aren't.Legitimate concern.. Are the side windows heated on the 170? We use a RAM mount and I have had any problems with it on the CRJ but I hear a ton from the 145 guys. The only reason I can come up with is the side windows on the 145 are not heated but are on the CRJ.The 170 at RAH. A double suction mount that wasn't worth a damn unless you babysat it and checked the security of the suctions constantly.

In the Q&A section they put out on comply it discusses this exact issue. I would suggest accessing comply through your desktop or other personal device and not through your company issued iPad.so...how am i supposed to connect to wifi to download the charts, when the settings app to turn wifi on is in the folder labeled "DO NOT OPEN"
