Life at Compass

thatll be the day. I'm pretty sure I'm safe in DTW. Unless for some crazy reason senior guys want DTW so they can sit reserve.

You can't leave. I'm bringing my special cocktail of snark, sarcasm and aloofness to your base this late fall/winter.

I'm going to grow a big old "Northie" mustache too.

Slightly back on topic. Anybody willing to shed some light on how seniority is between the two bases? Could a new hire expect DTW right away or at least relatively quickly? I guess with the 166 hires it should move decent. Anybody have info on where reserve cuts off and what junior lines look like? Maybe I should check the thread in the hiring section ha....

Reserve in September is about 25% deep. That's on the FO side. Guys are all over the place on line structure. Some enjoy getting 75 hours and maxing their days off others enjoy working like ranch hands and having 11 days off. Really your pick in DTW.

I know a FO in DTW who gets build up/cdo lines. He says with his seniority, he would have no problem holding a regular line in MSP. I see no reason why you wouldn't get DTW before you finish training.

The cold isn't that bad. A few days get "bad" but for the most part it's just winter. Rochester gets gloomy for about 3 months that's about the worst of it.
