This regional business just confuses the heck out of me. Why is it that Compass loses the jets as they need more east coast lift, meanwhile Skywest is adding delta flights out of LAX? Same in SEA, Skywest is throwing new ERJs in SEA for Delta...

Because whipsaw. Artificially create instability at the regionals and they will fight over business, keeping costs down.

I submitted a drop precisely at midnight central, timestamp on my drop was 22:00 PST - processed for 2 hours then DENIED. Meanwhile 10 other trips dropped on the same date. Would love to see the timestamps on those. Oh well

Yup, I got a drop denied that was a 00:00 MSP time drop, with no reason listed for the denial. Everything else is still processing.

I got two denied. Both had reasons. One even had the name and employee number of the person that got what I wanted.

My past experience has been if it's not instantly processed, it's 99% going to be denied.

Just saw their profile on APC, says Compass is not hiring. So much for that pilot shortage, first time in a long time a regional isn't hiring. What's going on over there?

FLICA normally auto processes but it will stop auto processing when it detects an error such as someone picking something up out of base or someone who is dequal trying to pick up a trip or someone who has prohibited cities due to passport renewals etc.thats when it takes manual intervention to "reset" the system so it will auto process again.

You should tell scheduling that. They seem to think waiting 8 hours for something to process means things are just fine.

14 hours for me and only was pushed through when I inquired. Denied of course because by then, the trip I was trading for was gone.
