Life at Compass

I wouldn't want to call a guy named Captain Outlaw and question him either.
Atleast you wore your hat.

I miss the hat! Never thought I'd say that.

Maybe I'll try to get hats at the new place. That should make me extremely popular. -)

Not really up to them... Trans States owns us now, and they're a privately held company. Compass would have to be for sale in order for Delta to buy us.
Also, they supposedly wanted to get away from WO's but basically were forced to buy Endeavor to save their cheap feed during the BK... Doesn't mean they want more. Although it seems like their strategy may be shifting that way as they are beginning to realize I think that in order to really be in control of their brand, they need to be in control of the regionals as well (look at the big Bombardier order, as well). The times they are a' changing. I'm sure if Delta wanted to own us again though, they'd be able to convince Hulas to sell with a big pile of cash. Not sure what we bring to the table though other than staffing... DL already owns our planes, engines, provides the ground handling, the fuel, etc....

I know we're all disappointed that Delta decided not to take delivery of the E190s, and thus decided to not go forward with their plan to buy/staple Compass for their training program and type rated pilots, but that's no reason to start wild, unrealistic rumors.

Bingo.

On the back of the license it says ERJ-170/190 for a reason. DL owned, but Compass operated ERJ-190's, with fancy galley catering!

I even hear they'll have cake on board!

Tier 1 !!!!!!!!!!!1!11!111!!11111!!11111!!!!!!!!

I heard from a SEA Maintenance guy that Delta is still taking the 190 but because the 100 seat aircraft are not out of scope they are going to only put 76 seats on them. This will be temporary of course because the Delta contract being voted on tomorrow will have scope relief so we can operate them at 100 seats. So pretty much mainline catering confirmed.

This follows perfectly in the marketing plan for SEA-Fairbanks service!
E175 seasonal, then the E190 alternates in!
More fuel, more range, and in the 76 seat configuration the plane will be the PREMIER product!!!!!!!!!!!!

Imagine how happy the DL FA's will be when it's cycled to the DL SHUTTLE side, no more pesky 717 galley service.

Cake on SHUTTLE flights!!!!!!!!!!
