Life at Compass

Can someone please build me a 20MB+ powerpoint detailing, with pictures, how to not click reply all on emails and how to not select "CMP.Pilots.ALL" as mail recipients? I think I'll start blowing up offenders' inboxes that way. muahaha

I am looking for some insight from current Compass pilots. I am currently flight instructing the last 500 hours of TT needed before ATP mins. I plan on applying to Compass a couple of months before I reach the magic number which will probably be April/May. The last three instructors at my place of employment went to Compass and are really enjoying it. Now all three had very different multi times when they were hired: 60, 25, and 33. Mr. 60 and Mr. 33 were hired without being told to build more multi time. Mr. 25 was told he HAD to have 50 hours multi before he could go to orientation. I am wondering what the metric is for deciding how much multi time each individual will need. I know Mr. 33 had no problem picking up the rest in the sim. I asked Mr. 33 about the multi time situation and he told me to "dig" at the interview and even went as far as to advise me to speak to the chief pilot about it. He thinks Mr. 25 did not ask any questions when they told him he HAD to go fly 25 more hours of multi time. I don't want to be a push over at the interview, but of course I don't want to dig myself out of the room and onto the street. Mr. 33 did his multi 141 and Mr. 25 was 61. I do not know if that was a factor in the decision.

Thanks for the help!!!

If the recruiters told them something then that's what was required and there was a reason. Going around them to the chief pilot won't help someone's cause.

Has anybody sponsored a candidate yet?

The memo says , "...the candidate is to include the Sponsoring Employee’s Payroll Number when responding to the following question: “Do you know a Compass employee who will provide a referral?” When responding “Yes” a drop down box will appear for the candidate to reference the Sponsoring Employee’s Payroll Number".

That question isn't showing up on the addendum though.
