How many more AA planes y'all have coming? You got 12 so is it 8 more? Can't remember what the deal was for
It was for 60 more AA planes.
Why do you say that?
Because it was.
Maybe I misspoke or misunderstood you? AAG has ordered 60 175s, but has placed only 20 at compass, yes?
I guess you think I'm trying to troll or bash compass, and now are just trolling me.
I'm not, I think it's a good company. I just heard a rumor and was trying to see the validity of it.
Okay, So 15 aircraft delivered, 12 in operation, 10k signing bonus, training now paid for, but everything is good. Gotcha

Just curious what your point is? Sounds like you fly at another airline, heard there are staffing problems at Compass, and you are trying to find information to substantiate that. Are you looking to smear Compass, or are you looking to move there?
Why don't you describe what you heard, and why you believe it with such conviction that you're disregarding what these guys here are telling you.
Fair enough. The last message was just a childish but harmless back and forth with Train, albeit unwarranted on my part. Oh well.
I'm not looking to smear compass, at one point I was going to move there. I fly for envoy, and unfortunately other AAG contracted carriers success and failure effect me. While I don't wish other airlines to go through what we've been through, it's a fact of life that in some situations one pilot group can benefit from another pilot groups woes.
As to the rumor, I heard it from someone who doesn't work at compass or envoy, so it probably lacks validity.
I heard there are 2 and soon to be 3 planes that have been delivered to compass but aren't being used, and it was inferred because it's due to staffing. It was vague obviously, but piqued my curiosity.
The answers I got were appreciated but pretty short. I just wanted more details about the current situation, hence the follow up posts.
Now I wonder, with this website claiming 15 aircraft have been delivered, but it's claimed here 12 are in service, what's behind that? Is it just there is a delay in the delivered stage to being put into service?
To be more direct, how is staffing there, hiring and attrition included?
While I've been typing this clarks already answered both these questions, which frankly is slightly eerie.
Why is it eerie? We are filling classes. Period. End. Of. Story.
Do you guys fly AA planes out of SEA? I was jumpseating out of there one day and saw one with a tail number that ended in CZ.
