For FedEx, I believe we get a standard discount available to most airline employees. I don't remember what the deal is exactly, but I remember shipping an extra large flat rate box across the country for like $20. The people at FedEx-Kinkos (in Eagan) knew exactly what the discount was and how to apply it.

Not sure about UPS.

I think many FedEx locations may ask to see your crew badge, but not 100% sure. Yes we should get a discount with them.

Anyone else see the paper someone posted in the LAX crew room about help with using PBS? It had an email and phone number on it. I can't remember what it was, if you have it could you share with us? Thanks!

I'm familiar with that one. It looked more like another was offering a session on the 15th regarding strategies and how to use PBS. There was a phone number to text, and an "aol" email address.

The Association does not sanction these "training" events with AOL email addresses. As mentioned above, I think it might be for the flight attendants.

They are for flight attendants, and they are run by flight attendants that were trained by the company, not AFA. As @amorris311 said above cpzpbs@alpa.org is the only sanctioned contact.

14 more upgrades posted today. It would be wonderful all the slots were taken by bypassed pilots. Hopefully 14 per vacancy becomes the norm as well although it does feel higher than what I would have expected.

There's a PRF, somewhere in 365. Also, it's in LIDO GEN --> Supplementary --> North America --> Appendix I think.

Maybe it wasn't your intention, but you make it sound as if an injustice was done to these bypassed pilots. When those bypassed get their 1000, they will be sitting pretty, most likely with a nice line.

I agree, most bypassers recieved a golden ticket. Most of them don't comprehend that 1000 hours is extremely low, whereas at most other places they would have a few thousand because of the long wait to upgrade. SMH, some don't know how fortunate they are. Probably the same people who complained about a couple months of reserve.

Not all bypassers are waiting on 1000 SIC. Also, why do you still check this thread?
