KCM versus Pilot versus "himself" versus them... or the system? WTF?

Airside A - TPA ... man I spent a lot of time there!
And we got the Airside C bonus!

Sounds like he is an ACMI pilot. I don’t know how things work at Atlas, ATI, etc., but my company would probably make me do a psych exam before being allowed to fly again. That was bananas.

Even if the dude kept his job, not being able to commute out of your home airport for a year would totally suck!

I get the frustration. Not sure what its with the TSA in Florida, they’re extra, for sure. BUT . . . many of have been dealing with the TSAs insanity since its inception and most of know when to just comply and walk away. The fact that he didn’t AND came back for round 2 after being escorted out by LE is a huge red flag.

I forgot to ask: WTF was that dude talking about being afraid of getting viruses from the scanner?! I’ve heard some bonkers conspiracy theories in the flight levels, but that is a new one, and probably one of the craziest.

I mean, I think most of us on the airport side know that showing hesitance to any additional screening would be the top sign that you were doing something sketch. When we'd traverse the tunnels at TPA it wasn't uncommon to go through a secure door and walk into a group of three TSA waiting to do a special random screening. Every now and then I'd joke and act like I was going to go back through the door.

Somebody please help me understand this...

I legit don't understand what is going on. He got trespassed from that airport for a freaking year lol. Just risked his career for what? How does the company not can him for this?
