Very interesting occurrence. Obviously VERY early in the "what the heck happened" stage, so I have to withhold judgements til we get some more info. If the F/O was so certain the CA needed to stay off the flight deck, I have to think he had a darn good reason for it... it's not something any F/O would do without a really serious reason. Am very curious to find out what happened.

If I remember right, internally Comair drops the 5, so it was referred to as 191 in some circles.I think the Comair flight was 5191. Its still weird though.
Hopefully the cpt gets his condition cleared up and finds gainful employment now that his medical is likely gone. Forever.
