Technically dont we just call this a post birth abortion? Why are you so up in arms about it? The end result is the same. The woman no longer has a baby to care for, the kid isn’t in the system reliant on the state to take care of it and the kid is dead regardless. I’m not sure where the problem is for you. These are all the things you advocate for by legalizing abortions of convenience. Unless you’re suggesting this new uptick in abandonments is all rapes and incest babies. And if so are incidents of rapes and incest up because of republican policies as well?

Are these upticks in abandonments(sorry, post birth abortions) happening in counties or cities that by a majority vote red? That’s what we call a rhetorical question.

I think you might be able to apply a similar idea here, to the idea that gun control doesn't stop violent crime from happening. It is somewhat of a feature of humanity, for better or worse. They will find a way to acquire the weapon, legal or not. Abortions are also something that humans will continue to pursue, whether legal or not, or even born or unborn as it seems. It might not be tasteful to some, but it is a reality.

I mean I'd start with a lot of Defense, myself, if I was looking to trim fat. At least make them pass an audit over there at the funny-shaped building.
