It is, but I agree that negligent planning is evil. Same with airports allowing airlines to start flights that don't fit knowing hundreds per day may misconnect due to the domino effect of that crap.

That’s what I’m wondering. I’ve always given JetBlue grace when it comes to on time performance. When your operation is predominantly in one of the most saturated areas in relation to airspace it’s a wonder they don’t cancel more. During my 9E days other then being a commuter there was a reason I bid mostly AM flying in NYC. After 3pm it usually hit the fan.

The DOJ can fine all they want but will it fix the ATC system that’s obviously broken? When it’s a beautiful day but there’s a ground stop due to system outages there’s a problem. But these are the hard hitting issues .
