it's a boy!!!

I want to start by apologizing to those of you who previously thoughtyou had the cutest kid in the world cause Evan has just taken the thrown! :) He's beautiful. Pictures will be posted as soon as we get home, so not for several days. lol Anyways, it was the most horrible labor and delivery I could have imagined and I just thank God it's over. I labored for around 4 days at home thinking they were just extremely bad braxton hicks contractions. I was seriously sleep deprived and in pain but the contractions NEVER became regular. Saturday night thought I was so tired and hurting that I didn't care and had Oliver drive me to the hospital. I was dialated to 5cm so thankfully the kept me and got me an epidural, giving me the first chance all week to get some rest. Nearly 20hrs later though I had still not progressed past 6 1/2 centimeters so they started me on pitocin and broke my waters. It took several hrs but I finally dialated completely, as my epidural stopped working on my right side. So I get ready to push and his head is too big, so looks like we have to do a c-section. By then though, I just want to do it and have the baby, so we had the section and everything was great BUT when they started sewing me up I started feeling my feet again and panicing so they put me to sleep and 3hrs after I had my baby I finally woke up and got to hold him! :) He's all worth it but it's definitely not something I'm looking forward to doing again anytime soon. He's feeding well, latches on with no problems. He doesn't really cry, he just gets a lil fussy when he wants something and did I mention he's gorgeous? :)

thanx ya'll...i am absolutely hyper and tired at the same time, pam goes in and out of sleep. the funniest thing is that my co-worker just checked in here with his wife in labor as well...lol
