Instructor Layoffs

I know the actual simulator itself is expensive....but how much does it acutally cost to run for say....an hour? (FSI cost)
 
I really don't know the numbers for that. It depends on the sim. Some are more expensive to operate, it depends if it has electric motion or hydraulic.
 
When i worked there they said the sims cost FSA about 7 million, for an outside company to buy the 145 would be closer to 18-20 million.
