OK. If you are serious about the biz you can make some coin. Like good money, more than regional F/Os make in a year kinda coin. It's being a broker. Basically, you have a client, who wants to buy an airplane, say a turbine cabin class twin. You work for the client and find him the perfect airplane for their mission, and get a commission. The trick is finding the clients. I'm not sure about the appraiser part of it, but if you do decent business it would be a way to jump start the getting clients thing. But long term being a broker is where it's at, perfect job for those with lots of time on the road.Is there any market out there for aircraft appraisers? I feel like I have a pretty extensive knowledge of the GA market and aircraft/equipment options, etc. I've been involved in buying/selling several aircraft as well. Just a thought but how would one go about this? I looked up the National Aircraft Appraisers Association. Looks like for a fee and a short course you can do the job. Has anyone done this and can you make enough from the initial fee investment for it to be worth it?
