How did u build time?

no, post the part 91.??? up here when you find it and don't look it up for me or to prove to anyone but for yourself for your 135 job interview when they ask about your flight time and experience. So your not saying...it's 91 but with 135 rules.

I don't work there, but there are endless articles on it. Actually Propilot had a nice writeup.

It's a part 91 corporate operation, they run their operation using the part 135 rules as a guide. They are not a 135 operation.

Personally, if I get furloughed and they had a KMLB run, man it'd be tempting...especially for a TBM

They're down to only 1 TBM. It's only got 200 hours before the hot section and they're not going to work on that because it's like $30,000 for only about 200 more cycles on the plane itself... :( Onto the PC-12s and MU-2's... I sure hope I get my time before the MU-2's make it to Dallas. :panic:

Also, I hear Labquest on my local TRACON freq. all the time. It seems like it wouldn't be a bad gig.

Labquest is pretty legit. They own the blood and such, therefore not common carriage. Case closed.

Since Labquest (Quest Diagnostics air wing) ONLY carries their own products they do not have to hold a 135 cert.

I've done a few charters for them when their planes were down, and it seemed like a cool company. Only downside is that there is a LOT of CO2 in those coolers. From what I've heard, they pretty much follow 135 regs even though they are not required to.

Why should I have to prove that anyway? It's part 91 because they aren't chartering anything, they follow 135 rules... How do you not understand that?

I dont understand..... I see nothing but disadvantages to following 135 rules if you are a part 91 op? What am I missing?

GGG, right? I'll be flying LABQUEST 640 tomorrow night passing by there around 5:45-6ish. If you're flying on approach for Longview, you should just say "Theresa" and I'll know who it is. :) Hehehe

Yup, that's where I be. Till the end of the month anyway.

Spot on. I guess I couldn't say that enough... Perhaps it's because I didn't bold anything... Or because I am a woman. :hiya::sarcasm:

Inssurance premiums.

By following 135 guidelines their insurance company can treat them like they were a 135 operator. From an operational standpoint they do things almost exactly the same as if they were a 135 operator. However they don't have to deal with the FAA nearly as much.

They use to fly into Longview everynight M-F until about 2 months ago. Now Longview drives their stuff to Dallas.
OK. I thought it'd been a while since I saw one of them sitting on the ramp here. Sad to see more small freight routes get cut.

Not cut, just re-routed. Lol. They're actually trying to expand out here. Instead of flying DAL-GGG-DAL-SAT-DAL it's DAL-CRP-HRL-SAT-DAL :) Driving GGG's labwork is much more efficient for the pocket and it's only getting in 30 minutes later than flying it.

So which route is it that goes by GGG? do you do one over to SHV or something?

They fly their own stuff. They don't charter for anyone else. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, I know I'm not, but don't make such a rude comment. There are cargo ops that haul around stuff over night that aren't 135.

I don't see how that was rude... Maybe you're so defensive because you don't want use to wise up to your sketchy time building!!! :insane:
