Just wanted to let you all know Gulfstream intl airlines is now Silver Airways. We are now replacing our fleet of Beech 1900 with Saab 340 aircraft with major expansion plans. Currently hiring pilots at 250/50, f/a's and a host of other positions. Hope to see you there - and one more thing, HI HO SILVER - AWAAAAAAAY!!! :)

Is "HI HO SILVER - AWAAAAAAAY!!!" the airlines new slogan? I saw that in your other post. You should totally say that when handed off to departure...or cleared for takeoff. ;)

Oh god.

Side note, the 340 is a sexy bird and that paint job is actually pretty sharp!

How is it that Gulfstream can come up with a pretty decent airline name like that, but ASA somehow came up with the atrocious "SureJet?"

Good luck to everyone at the former GIA. I hope you guys are very successful.

Now, if only they would double their starting FO pay.

They pay their starting FOs on a 19-seat turboprop the same thing that most regionals are paying their starting FOs on 50- and 70-seat regional jets. And Silver Airways is the problem?

I know it's popular to attack to GIA, but this one is really a stretch.
