Furlough Estimates

It depends.

If this is occurring in a place where open carry is legal, then one can carry all they like and they have no need to justify their action, even if people are concerned over it.

If this is occurring in a place where open carry is not legal, most likely other members of the public will get concerned and want to know what is up or what is going on.
I wonder what a protestor’s rationale is for carrying a weapon to protest at the capitol for something that doesn’t even involve the 2nd amendment.

Do they feel it makes them look or feel like tough guys? Is it some weird Cosplay I’m unaware of? Overcompensating for something? Got to compare who has a bigger one to your fellow protestors?

Somehow I think “self-defense” is way way way down on the list of reasons these folk decided to show off their toys.

I feel like carrying a gun is one of those things where it’s a tool if needed (and quite frankly, a tool for very limited places/situations).

If someone is going somewhere where the thought is “I need my gun because some shizz might happen” then maybe one needs to re-evaluate where they go and how they spend their time.

Remember, private citizens have no duty to act, and sometimes the best thing to do is walk away or not go at all.

What’s driving Lee’s decision isn’t caution, it’s getting a feel for demand. In my humble opinion, from a business sense, nothing else matters but demand at this point and a lot of variables go into demand.

LAX-DTW is open for business! But the loads are light because demand is low, unfortunately it’s going to take far more than a “flip of the switch” and we’re going to have to put on our thinking caps.

My family gonna be doin LAX-DTW to see family late June. Masks on and off we go. In June the only nonstop was Delta but now with demand picking back up Spirit added their flight back to 4x weekly.

I didn't even know it was a thing until I saw it the other day

My grandfather grew watermelons. There is a kind that is orange-yellow on the inside (not the bright lemon yellow like your pic) that I liked better than any red melons.

I think this is more of a case of the guy who went from B-52s to 777s talking about how @MikeD is doing sling loads from a helo wrong. Some of the docs might be great at wrapping up a broken leg or even doing surgery, but when it comes to virology or epidemiology they only know enough to sound like they know what they’re talking about.

@MikeD doing slingloads? That’s cute.

Is he talking about yellow meat watermelons, honeydew melons, or something else?

Every once and a while, you'll get a yellow one instead of a red. It's like the albino of watermelons. I think there has been a way of getting them through GMO now.

I’m all for the right to bear arms. With that said I still cannot understand why these protesters needed to bring firearms let alone assault rifles to a rally. What am I missing?

Agree completely on bearing arms...and if you are missing something, many of us are.

Nothing says “poor me, I’m being oppressed” like military-grade firepower, camouflage clothing, and a well-earned beer gut evidencing the obvious supremacy over lesser- or unarmed fellow citizenry.

I just think about how these meatheads would come unglued if other, actually oppressed groups showed up armed to the teeth instead of trying to convince with reason and demonstrating a peaceful, civil example.

The ones my grandfather grew were predictably yellow. Not mutants of expected reds. He had whatever kind of seeds they were and planted them in their own row.

I live in sugar house, which is just south of downtown a bit. I went on a walk yesterday though and saw signs of opening at my old haircut place for tomorrow.

Lol, bro... BRO! Of course, I know where Suger House is and what it is. C'mon. You want me to break out the Obama shoulder shrug emoji?

:D

And a surfer just was killed off the coast of California by a “unknown species of shark”
