There is working hard and working too hard.I did 160 hours last month...I typically average around 100 ish per month.
Oh..trust me. It hurt and I hated my life for about a week afterwards. It was sorta necessary though...We had a long list of instrument students to get done in a short period of time (international students) and there are only 4 of us who work in my schools instrument program as opposed to 8 or 9 in the Private program, so we all had to work our asses off. Atleast we got a bonus for our extra effort. There is working hard and working too hard.
This is an example of the latter.
Sorry to bring back an old post but is there a max number of hours a CFI can have per month? I heard 8 hours a day/100 flight hours per month was the regulation. If so, how did you manage to get 160 hours (or was that including ground and sim time)?I did 160 hours last month...I typically average around 100 ish per month.
8 in 24 is the only limit. Just as long as you comply with that, you're good. I've done close to 140 before.Sorry to bring back an old post but is there a max number of hours a CFI can have per month? I heard 8 hours a day/100 flight hours per month was the regulation.
